Today the boys came back to the home and Sarah and I ended up allowing them to go swimming all day long. Today was really the first day that we have had sun and hot all day long. It was really nice to be by the pool all day. The boys were having a great time enjoying the pool. I ended up watching Techi and Meche while their house mom went to the food market to buy the food for the home for the week. The girls were really excited to go swimming in the pool before lunch time. This week the rules for the pool haven't been followed exactly since there really aren't too many kids but still safety first.

At lunch time Sarah had made a cake for Giampiere's 14th birthday which we sang him happy birthday and ate cake. He was really excited and happy. Giampiere has this really cute smile. The boys ended up swimming all afternoon along with the little kids. I even allowed Michael to play on the first step as long as he didn't get his head wet or splash too much. We are in his 5th month without an infection in his ear which means only 3 more months to go to be infection free for his operation on his ear drum.

The team and all the kids, staff and missionaries we ate supper together in the dining room. It is always so much fun when we are able to eat together as one big happy family. Actuall for the last several days the team has been eating with the kids since there are only 5 who are here. After dinner we had devotions with the kids and the team up in the library and after devotions we again celebrated Giampiere's birthday. What fun to be able to celebrate your birthday twice in one day.
