This afternoon, we celebrated Matthew's* 18th birthday. His birthday was actually at the end of July and somehow it slipped through the cracks to celebrate his birthday. Here in Peru the 18th birthday is a big deal. A handful of Matthew's friends came over and the youth of the home. It was really a wonderful time being able to celebrate his life. As Matthew was getting ready to leave the home to go back to the BCM he told me that he had a wonderful time and really appreciated everyone and the things that they had to share with him.
